Shafer Merlot TD 9 2018 - Under Bond
56% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon and 21% Malbec from Stags Leap District, Yountville and a vineyard in the foothills of the Vaca Mountains, just south of Stags Leap District. Aged for 20 months in a combination of Allier and Troncais barrels (100% new).
Sancerre Comte Lafond 2021
This wine comes from the hilltop town of Sancerre on the left bank of the Upper Loire at an elevation of around 300m. The flint, gravel and limestone soils yield a mineral character to the Sauvignon Blanc grape. Grapes picked from vineyard blocks are vinified separately and then blended together for best balance. No oak ageing.
Qupe Syrah Bien Nacido Vineyard 2017 Under Bond
Simply stunning, evocative deep purple, with black fruited aromas, a hint of tar and the classic lift of white pepper.
Ridge Lytton Estate Petite Sirah 2019 Under Bond
Petite Sirah is a close relative to Syrah. Like Syrah, it is a dark-coloured grape that yields wines with floral aromas, deep colour and full, rich tannins. To moderate tannins, we fermented the grapes de-stemmed, as whole berries. Aging in twenty-five percent new oak over sixteen months has softened the wine.
Paladin Malbech Gli Aceri 2018
Flagship wine of an internationally renowned estate. 91 pts, James Suckling. 90+pts, Gold Medal, Gilbert & Gaillard 2018, Gold Medal in CITTA' DEL VINO, International Wine Competition 2023
