Sauvignon Blanc

The white grape in Bordeaux and the Loire Valley that has now found fame in New Zealand and Chile .It performs well in the Loire Valley where it produces bone dry, highly aromatic, racy wines, with grassy and sometimes smoky, gunflint-like nuances.

The name 'Greywacke' was adopted by Kevin for his first Marlborough vineyard, located in Rapaura, in recognition of the high prevalence of rounded greywacke river stones in the soils of the vineyard.
