“Sour cherries, licorice, lemon verbena and balsamic on the nose. There’s lavender and sandalwood, too. So much pure sangiovese character with tangy acidity and juicy sour and savory hints carrying this wine long. Firm, grippy tannins that are at the forefront for now. Give it a few years.

93 Points, James Suckling:“A bright, fruity wine with cherries and walnuts, as well as hints of burnt lemon. It’s medium-bodied with pretty fruit and a fruity finish. Hints of bark add to the complexity. Delicious and balanced. Drink now.” 

Jancis robinson 16++ points: Lustrous mid ruby. Deep, brooding, sweet cherry on the nose. Succulent, if a little austere right now, but with plenty of potential. (WS)
