The Premier Cru les Serpentières is located a stone's throw from Savigny-lès-Beaune , on the south-facing slope of the valley which moves away from the Corton hill. The gently sloping terroir, facing south, limestone and very stony, is a setting for Pinot Noir .
This wine is mineral driven, with slight floral notes and a steely crisp acidity which makes you want to go back for more. A classic and classy Chablis, showcasing the mineral terroir beautifully with notes of flint stone and fleshy fruits lingering on the palate. A wine that goes well with Burgundy snails, Chablis sausage and seafood.
From a single vineyard plot in ‘Les Pierres Dorées’, made in the Burgundian way that creates aromatic, fresh and buttery characters with a mineral finish. A benchmark style for the region.
100% Gamay rosé made by direct pressing and short maceration. Pale, elegant and aromatic with strawberry notes leaping out of the glass.
This is one of the top "go to" wines for Pouilly-Fumé. The estate's name is synonymous with style and quality. This is one heck of an entry level for Poully-Fumé. Highly recommended by us.
Johann Donabaum Gruner Veltliner Federspiel is a fascinating white wine from Austria's Wachau region. It shows complex aromas of fresh apple and lemon, with hints of anise and menthol. The wine is dry, with a delicious mineral, white pepper bite on the finish.
Pale yellow in colour with youthful hues, this dry organic Riesling shows ripe fruit aromas of citrus, green apple and light spice notes. The palate is delightfully refreshing, with the elegant medium body very well balanced by a crisp acidity and mineral subtones.
This multi-vintage wine has a dark ruby red colour. The nose is elegant with a charming bouquet of juicy berries, dark cherries and plums. The toasty aromas following extended maturation in oak are well integrated. On the palate, the wine has a well-balanced tannic structure and a silky texture.
*All prices in bond* 88-90 Points Jasper Morris inside Burgundy. Mid red crimson, the nose is altogether more rustic, being served after the Ile de Vergelesses. Rugby man shoulders to this but the tannins are not ugly and the wine finishes well.
*All prices in bond* 89-91 Points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. A lighter purple colour with quite a refined floral pinot nose. This upper hillside vineyard stays fresh yet has added weight with global warming. The fresh limestone feel is well supported by red fruit, with attractive persistence.
*DUTY PAID* Score: 88-90 points, Jasper Morris for Inside Burgundy and 89 - 91 Points, Neal Martin for Vinous.
*All prices in bond* 90-93 Points, Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy. Bright palish purple, with a vibrant juicy fresh red raspberry fruit. Some tannins behind but they are refined and
not bitter and the fruit is genial. Plenty to enjoy here in the appealing style of Bressandes. A long finish.
*All prices in bond* 93 Points Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy. Pale to mid lemon. The bouquet is restrained yet fine. This is very graceful, with a seamless silky texture. A discreet and
elegant example, medium bodied, quite persistent, a little well-judged oak, and a few stones bringing up the finish.
*All prices in bond* 91-93 Points Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy. Mid crimson purple with a lovely raspberry seedless aspect. A little bit tighter on the palate, slightly more
concentration and though still entirely red fruit this has a darker profile. The tannins and acidity are in balance at the finish.

*All prices in bond* 91 Points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. Mid lemon yellow. The bouquet is a little tighter and tenser while the palate stretches out further than Sous Frétille. A more
complete wine in all departments this year, light fresh apples and a useful salinity. Much more persistent this year.
*All prices in bond* 90-92 Points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. A good bright lighter purple crimson. There is a little more depth of fruit on the nose. More precision, fine structure, a return of high-class fruit at the finish. Not dramatic but fine boned and well made. Long fine finish.

*All prices in bond* 89 Points, Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy. Fresh pale lemon colour. The bouquet is beautifully typical of Pernand. Plenty of fruit here on the palate with a little bit of
flesh too. Ripe greengage and white fruit behind, and the right balance of acidity as well.
*All prices in bond* 86-87 Points Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. Mid red. A pretty floral red fruit, elegant and with charm, in the style of typical Pernand. Attractively perfumed on the palate too, light tannins, an agreeable lighter red for summer drinking.
*All prices in bond* 89 Points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. Mid lemon yellow. There is some energy to the bouquet but it is a little less fine than the village wine, more fruit than flowers but less elegant. Apples on the palate, no more than medium intensity and persistence.
*All prices in bond* 89-9 Points, Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy. The Dubreuil-Fontaine Pommard vines were slightly less damaged by the frost, especially the sector En Boeuf. A full crimson red colour. There is a weight and generosity of fruit on the nose which the lesser appellations slightly missed.
