Dubreuil Fontaine Pernand Blanc Berthet 2021

dubreuil fontaine en primeur 2021 - wimbledon wine cellar

*All prices in bond* 91 Points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. Mid lemon yellow. The bouquet is a little tighter and tenser while the palate stretches out further than Sous Frétille. A more
complete wine in all departments this year, light fresh apples and a useful salinity. Much more persistent this year.

91 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: The 2021 Pernand-Vergelesses Clos Berthet 1er Cru has an attractive nose with dried peach skin, honeysuckle and crushed stone. Perhaps it is missing some vigour, yet it has focus. The palate is well balanced and demonstrates more nuance than the Sous Fretille, with bitter lemon mixed with Golden Delicious and a touch of ginger imparting spiciness that particularly comes through on the aftertaste. Very fine.
