*DUTY PAID* Score: 88-90 points, Jasper Morris for Inside Burgundy and 89 - 91 Points, Neal Martin for Vinous.
"Red to crimson, 13.6%, but feels quite solid, not as noble , but there is a decent weight of red fruit and a finish that seems lightweight after the power-packed wines before." Jasper Morris, MW for Inside Burgundy
"The 2019 Beaune Montrevenots 1er Cru, from vines on the border with Pommard, was slightly reduced on the nose and not as expressive as either the Volnay or Pommard Village. The palate is medium bodied with supple tannins , gentle and unassuming, deliverng fleshy red currant and cranberry fruit laced with sous-bois towards the finish. This is a small cuvée of five and a half barrels, and it should drink earlier than the domaine's other cuvées." Neal Martin for Vinous
