“Great aromas of dried strawberries and fresh flowers, such as lavender. Full-bodied yet very tight and focused. Impressive tannic structure, but refined and polished. Lightly chewy. Finishes tight and refined. Best pinot of Chile. Drink after 2022, but hard to hold back.”

“Las Pizarras Pinot Noir 2019 displays a limpid ruby-red colour with beautiful violet highlights. It owns a complex nose reminiscent of rosehip, murtilla (Chilean guava), truffle, mushroom, sour cherries and a refreshing spicy tone, accompanied by soft pastries and dried fruit notes.

Brut Majeur perfectly represents the AYALA style. The Chardonnay, emblematic grape variety, presents at 55% in this cuvée expresses all its purity and elegance.
Complex and, therefore, intriguing...
TO THE EYE: The Brut Réserve boasts a deep golden hue. Delicate, vivacious and long-lasting bubbles are the result of a long, slow maturing process in chalk cellars.

88 poiunts, Jasper Morris, MW, Inside Burgundy: "The brightest colour of the three, more crimson than ruby. Good red fruit mostly raspberry up front, a surprisingly peppery finish, but the tannins avoid rusticity." Tasted: 12/1/2021
*ALL PRICES IN BOND* 88 points, Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy: Darkish sombre crimson. The nose has a gentler red fruit, there is a significant ball of soft red fruit in the mouth, strawberries and a few raspberries, some oak at the back, acidity not especially present, tannins properly ripened.
This wine is a deep, intense red. Elegant on the nose, with aromas of black fruits (blueberry and blackberry) dominating the hint of spice. A remarkable fullness on the palate, with tannic chewiness and unexpected roundness. The long finish has vanilla delicacy. A delightful wine, both powerful and elegant.
Allegrini’s take on the “Ripasso” method is made from a portion of grapes dried just for this wine (and not from the Amarone pomace). It's a smooth, velvety wine with ripe, juicy dark fruit and silky tannins.
A relatively unknown domaine, however the exquisite wines are no accident. With winemaking overseen by Pierre Millemann, it was no surprise when we tasted at the domaine last autumn that the wines are luscious and elegant. This is a grower destined to become one of the must-haves of Gevrey-Chambertin.

Jancis robinson 16++ points: Lustrous mid ruby. Deep, brooding, sweet cherry on the nose. Succulent, if a little austere right now, but with plenty of potential. (WS)
Jancis Robinson 17 points: Mid to deep ruby. Dark, brooding and sweet with the merest suggestion of gingerbread. Ripe cherry fruit and lots of juice on the finish. Very long and supple and with delicious, chewy tannins. (WS)

Simply stunning, evocative deep purple, with black fruited aromas, a hint of tar and the classic lift of white pepper.
