Jancis robinson 16++ points: Lustrous mid ruby. Deep, brooding, sweet cherry on the nose. Succulent, if a little austere right now, but with plenty of potential. (WS)

A full crimson red colour. There is a weight and generosity of fruit on the nose which the lesser appellations slightly missed.

*All prices in bond* 89-91 Points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. A lighter purple colour with quite a refined floral pinot nose. This upper hillside vineyard stays fresh yet has added weight with global warming. The fresh limestone feel is well supported by red fruit, with attractive persistence.
