The fruit for the Riserva 2016 is sourced exclusively from Tenuta Greppo’s oldest vines. The Riserva 2016 was vinified entirely in a mixture of Slavonian oak barrels. The wine is aged for three years in Slavonian oak barrels and aged in bottle before release.

The Epenots ripened well in 2021 and that shows in the nature of the fruit, discreet on the nose, but filling the mouth relatively well. Just slightly bitter tannins behind. Additional elevage may pay dividends here.
