Incredible value Burgundy from one of the most talented winemakers in Burgundy - the ever talented Claire Naudin. Gorgeous to drink now. The white is perfect with smoked salmon and seafood and the red perfect with white meat, ham and chicken. A great opportunity to try both the rouge and blanc!

Already shows a deep, complex, earthy, savoury red berry plummy aromatic with subtle smoky, sappy, leafy hints, and an attractive, sweet berry fruited intensity on a long savoury saline finish.

Pian delle Vigne has adopted the philosophy of aging in large casks that preserves the exceptional integrity of the Sangiovese berry and imparts the characteristic vibrant elegance of Brunello to the wine. Brunello Pian delle Vigne is an extraordinary expression with great finesse.
91-93 Neal Martin, October 2023 The 2022 Pommard Les Chanlins ler Cru is around 20% whole bunches and 35% new oak.
91-93 ,Neal Martin, October 2023. The 2022 Corton les Renardes Grand Cru is 100% whole bunches and 100% new French oak. It has a superb bouquet - you cannot tell the stems are here at all. Very floral with dried rose petals, a touch of lavender and pure red berry fruit.
90-92, Neal Martin, October 2023. The 2022 Pommard Les Argillieres ler Cru has around 20% whole bunches and 35% new French oak. Parent described this as an understated cru that has a more intense finish. It has a well-defined, very pure bouquet, a mixture of red and blueberry fruit. Fine mineralite.
90-92, Neal Martin, October 2023. The 2022 Pommard La Croix Blanche includes 10% whole bunches on the top of the vat. It has a delightful bouquet; those stems add a slight pepperiness. The 35% new oak is neatly integrated.
90-92, Neal Martin, October 2023. The 2022 Pommard Les Epenots ler Cru is a blend of the separately fermented Petit and Grands Epenots, about 50/50, 40% whole bunches and raised in 50% new French oak. The wood is just covering some of the fruit at the moment, so it will require some time to assimilate fully.
