*All prices in bond* 87-89 pts 4 stars Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy A similar colour, pale primrose perhaps. A little bit crisper and more classic in bouquet. Delicious white fruit, very balanced, feel the limestone, enough flesh yet with precision as well. A longer and more mineral finish than Forgets.
*All prices in bond* 86 - 88 3 Stars, Jasper Morris, MW, Inside Burgundy Mid lemon and lime, restrained nose. A little bit of honeysuckle and musk here, but a significant concentration of fruit on the palate, with a density of texture. Plenty of wine to work with here. Drink from 2024-2027. Tasted: October 2023.

90 - 92 points, Jasper Morris MW Inside Burgundy: Currently in tank, on its finings. Pure lemon and lime colour. Lean white fruit up front, with good tension behind. Entirely white, no yellow plums, racy limestone feel with good length. Tense and long. Tasted: 12/1/2021
94 Points – Owen Bargreen: Golden straw color, notes of citrus, vanilla and apple on the nose. Medium to full-bodied on the palate with pear fruit, good minerality, a hint of honey and a long clean finish.
100% Chardonnay
*ALL PRICES IN BOND* 88 - 89 points Jasper Morris MW Inside Burgundy: Currently in tank, on its finings. Pale colour. A light fresh bouquet with attractive fruit. Some plums, some fresh apple, a steady build up in flesh towards the back of the palate, a good balancing acidity, and fine persistence. Really very good indeed.
*ALL PRICES IN BOND* 89 points Jasper Morris MW Inside Burgundy: Bottled late November. Pretty lemon with a lime tint, this is a little stricter at first on the nose, after bottling, but with a wonderful wealth of apple and fresh pear fruit behind, and very good length. Extremely successful. Fine long aftertaste.
*ALL PRICES IN BOND* 92 points Jasper Morris MW Inside Burgundy: Bottled end November. Mid yellow in colour, but fresh. There is an impressive weight of fruit for this hillside vineyard. Significant volume of fresh fruit, tinged with its usual lime blossom character, and good crisp finish with just the right acidity.
This wine comes from the hilltop town of Sancerre on the left bank of the Upper Loire at an elevation of around 300m. The flint, gravel and limestone soils yield a mineral character to the Sauvignon Blanc grape. Grapes picked from vineyard blocks are vinified separately and then blended together for best balance. No oak ageing.
This is one of the top "go to" wines for Pouilly-Fumé. The estate's name is synonymous with style and quality. This is one heck of an entry level for Poully-Fumé. Highly recommended by us.
95 Points from Decanter. Tasted by Cameron Douglas, MS. Part of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc: 20 from 2020. This wine was the joint top scoring Sauvignon Blanc.

"Tillets" was a medieval form of linden, a tree often found around vineyards. The place called "Les Tillets" is above the hillside of Meursault, close to the woods.
Grape variety: 100 % Chardonnay

Production surface area: 1,70 ha
Allen Meadows, Burghound "Sweet Spot" wine. 91 - 94 pts: Slightly more evident wood influence can be found on the less elegant but beautifully layered nose of citrus confit, acacia blossom and wet stone scents.
5 Star Wine 95-98, Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy: Mostly from old vines, a good half planted between 1948 and 1952. Translucent lemon and lime colour. The bouquet is not ready to unfurl yet there is a sense of sublime purity about the nose. A wine in perfect harmony on its wide bench of white fruit.
5 Star Wine 93-95 Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy: From multiple plots: east facing kimmeridgian marl in Pied d’Aloue (0.50ha), one hectare in Chapelot, (more soil here, fatter wine), then the rest in Bréchain, where vines dating back to 1936, give tension. What a beautiful bouquet.
92-95 Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy: Fresh pale green tint. Didier describes this as the entry level grand cru. The average age of the vines is at or above 60 years.
