"Tillets" was a medieval form of linden, a tree often found around vineyards. The place called "Les Tillets" is above the hillside of Meursault, close to the woods.

Production surface area: 1,70 ha
Terroir: Situated close to the wood and orientated south- south east, the location is an extremity of the Meursault slopes; the soil is brown limestone patched with clay and hard limestone. The wine is produced from 6 parcels close to each other in the same location, the age of the vines ranging from 30 to 70 years.
Tasting notes: The wine has a characteristic bouquet with overtones of white flowers, white and yellow fruit and a slight spicy note, on the whole complex and very elegant; in the mouth it is full- bodied, vigorous and mineral with a fine aromatic freshness. A delicate wine it has a long finish and a certain underlying robustness and its style may be described as between a classic Meursault and a typical Puligny-Montrachet.
Aging potential: 7 to 8 years
Serving temperature: 11 to 13 °C
Serving suggestion: With fish, grilled or with a light sauce or with white meats.
