For lovers of fine Burgundy, Neal Martin, Master of Wine, reviewed Pomone as one of the star buys of the vintage. It has a crisp raspberry and cranberry bouquet with a damp earthy element. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, almost Pommard-like in style, which is no surprise given the location, and the finish is taut and minerally.
