This wine is mineral driven, with slight floral notes and a steely crisp acidity which makes you want to go back for more. A classic and classy Chablis, showcasing the mineral terroir beautifully with notes of flint stone and fleshy fruits lingering on the palate. In the vineyard: Sangiovese 88% and Canaiolo 12%, the soils are mainly composed of marl and alberese with a smaller percentage of boulder and sandstone. The 2021 vintage followed a regular trend. The winter was generally dry, with temperatures close to the seasonal average.

The Costanti family has owned this 10-hectare estate in Montalcino for over 200 years. In the latter part of the 19th century, Count Tito Costanti [1827-1895], Clementi Santi and Ferruccio Biondi Santi were pioneers in Montalcino.
