Robert Parker.com "This is a new winery flexing it's muscles. Great wines."
Simply stunning, evocative deep purple, with black fruited aromas, a hint of tar and the classic lift of white pepper.
Petite Sirah is a close relative to Syrah. Like Syrah, it is a dark-coloured grape that yields wines with floral aromas, deep colour and full, rich tannins. To moderate tannins, we fermented the grapes de-stemmed, as whole berries. Aging in twenty-five percent new oak over sixteen months has softened the wine.
Intense and deep ruby red color, with an enveloping, fruity aroma of cherry and raspberry, a complex of pleasantly balanced spices and vanilla. On the palate it is rich, ample and velvety, with great structure and aromatic persistence, with elegant and gentle tannins.

“…a spellbinding, timeless classic in the making” 99 points, Greg Sherwood, MW
Ruby red color with soft violet reflections, with a complex, intense, spicy perfume with a fruity touch of wild strawberries, cherry, plum, mixed with light hints of red rose. On the palate rich, wide and velvety, with a great structure and aromatic persistence with an acidic aftertaste, soft and balanced tannins that gives a fresh acidity.
Save 25%. Brand new to the First Lady range, this is the first vintage of this wine, made using South Africa’s signature red varietal. Aged for 14 months in old oak, to add structure and body without overpowering the rich flavours of dark cherry, chocolate and rooibos tea.
