91-93, Neal Martin, October 2023. The 2022 Pommard Les Chaponnieres ler Cru contains 30% whole bunches and was raised in 40% new French oak. The nose offers brambly red fruit, hints of graphite and an endearing sense of Pinote; this is more elegant than the Chanlins.
91-93 ,Neal Martin, October 2023. The 2022 Corton les Renardes Grand Cru is 100% whole bunches and 100% new French oak. It has a superb bouquet - you cannot tell the stems are here at all. Very floral with dried rose petals, a touch of lavender and pure red berry fruit.
90-92, Neal Martin, October 2023. The 2022 Pommard Les Argillieres ler Cru has around 20% whole bunches and 35% new French oak. 90-92, Neal Martin, October 2023. The 2022 Pommard Les Epenots ler Cru is a blend of the separately fermented Petit and Grands Epenots, about 50/50, 40% whole bunches and raised in 50% new French oak. The wood is just covering some of the fruit at the moment, so it will require some time to assimilate fully.
90-92, Neal Martin, October 2023. The 2022 Ladoix La Corvee ler Cru, completely de-stemmed, has a perfumed, violet-tinged bouquet ith a spring in its step. The medium-bodied palate has supple, fine tannins. It is fresh and vibrant, with a keen thread of acidity and a precise finish.
90-92, Neal Martin, October 2023. The 2022 Monthelie Les Champs Fulliots ler Cru comes from purchased fruit, although the Domaine controls the harvest, matured in less than 30% new oak. Pretty, pastille-like red and blueberry fruit on the nose, this is well-defined and comely.
Anne harvests her gorgeous Pinot from vineyards that abut Pommard. Her style is classic yet modern. This is tip top plush Pinot Noir.
