86-89, Allen Meadows, Burghound. Tasted: Jan 10, 2024.  Tasting note: A more elegant and slightly cooler nose reflects lightly spiced fruit that derives more from the red side of the spectrum.

Wine Safari Score: 91-93+/100 Greg Sherwood MW. Mostly sourced from a climat called Les Argillieres (66%). The aromatics are fine and beautifully perfumed, elegantly red fruited and attractive with pink flowers, red cherry fruits and an attractive pink musk spice.

Taut yellow stone fruit aromatics lead to a sleek supple palate with plenty of yellow citrus fruit concentration, a hint of caramelised fig, green melon and a delicate tarte tatin richness on the finish. Really attractive and seductive and ready to drink on release.

Claire Naudin's perfect Echezeaux is an embodiment of fine fruit and finesse that is seldom seen in this appellation. Power is not evident in this super bottling, it is replaced by finesse and a ballerina-like aroma of charm and cherries.

*Prices in Bond* Another very fine Ladoix that boast a rich, generous aromatics packed full of damson plum, black berry, salty cassis, and picante bramble berry fruits that seamlessly fade into a delicate oak spice allure.

*Prices in Bond* Piercingly fresh, intense aromatics reveals hints of sweet pear, apple purée, white blossom, and seductive honeysuckle. On the palate, the freshness and vibrant white citrus fruits melt into a pithy, stony, briney saline liquid minerality.

*Prices in Bond* This cuvee spends 12 months in oak and then three and a half months on its fine lees in tank. The aromatics show a dusty limestone minerality with pithy green pear, hints of buttered white toast and yellow grapefruit confit.
