This wine is mineral driven, with slight floral notes and a steely crisp acidity which makes you want to go back for more. A classic and classy Chablis, showcasing the mineral terroir beautifully with notes of flint stone and fleshy fruits lingering on the palate. A wine that goes well with Burgundy snails, Chablis sausage and seafood.

Chablis is an isolated island of vineyards in the northern section of wine-producing Burgundy halfway between Dijon and Paris. Maison Louis Latour's Chablis is the ultimate expression of what the noble Chardonnay grape is capable of on the region's famous Kimmeridgian limestone slopes.

Year after year this Shafer-owned vineyard offers up wine with plush, exotic, zesty aromas and flavors. This is Shafer’s single-vineyard Carneros-grown Chardonnay, matured on the lees for around 14 months.
