An excellent opportunity to taste wines from around the world which we feel will be perfect for Christmas. Our range is well regarded throughout the wine industry as simply one of the finest in the UK – not just the capital. We have, as ever, little space to move but you will have plenty of time to taste gorgeous wines. You can fall over the best wine in the world or better still take them home with you or order them. Come and enjoy excellent champagne from our must have exclusive small grower Petit and Bajan. Their rosé is to die for….And everybody knows our Italian, Burgundy and Loire section is second to none and some real treats will be on display.
Dessert wines are always a favourite at this time of year so come down and taste the delights of Vin de Constance, stunning Chateau Rieussec Sauternes. We will also have on hand some bottles of Samos dessert wine from 100-year-old vines with the owner of the estate chomping at the bit to pour you a glass or two.
Taste gorgeous wines that have been ageing in our cellars, just waiting for the Christmas season ahead. All your favourite names such as Brunello, Barolo etc will be available. The difference in our tasting will be that you can taste top names and vintages from these regions such as Fattoi, Stroppiana, Antinori and La Spinetta.
Andrew Wilcocks, with over 30 years experience in the fortified wine trade will also be on hand to take you through stunning port, sherry and madeira.
