Pinot Noir Antonin 2020 Hautes Cotes de Nuits Blanc Gros 2019

galeyrand and gros 2020 mixed case - wimbledon wine cellar

Domaine Michel Gros Hautes Cotes de Nuits Blanc Fontaine St Martin 2020. 85 - 88 points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: "Tasting note: A more restrained and slightly cooler nose is comprised by notes of plum, cassis and soft earth suggestions. The finer and nicely vibrant middle weight flavors evidence more minerality on the lingering finish that is also ever-so-mildly edgy along with a hint of dryness. Again, it's hard to predict whether the edginess will dissipate."

Domaine Jerome Galeyrand Pinot Noir Antonin 2020. 88 points, William Kelley, "Notes of cherries, plums, dark chocolate, spices and peonies introduce the 2020 Bourgogne Pinot Noir Antonin, a medium to full-bodied, lively and nicely concentrated wine, framed by powdery tannins and concluding with a long, perfumed finish. It's a terrific effort that punches above its weight."

*In the mixed case there is a possiblility that the Domaine Gros Blanc 2020 may be replaced with the 2019 vintage (Score: 85 points, Neal Martin, Vinous: "The 2019 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Blanc Fontaine St Martin was bottled just before harvest. It has a light mandarin and grapefruit bouquet that needs more energy. The palate is well balanced, with orange peel and apricot. Forward and ready to drink now.")
