While this is not made from one of Jerome’s most famous appellations, the Les Retraits has fast become one of his most sought-after wines. The 2022 is incredibly complete, fabulously silky and round with notable balance and harmonious depth, finely balancing a creamy concentrated structure with soft, elegant, silky tannins while never losing its
bright, mouth-watering, brambly fruited energy. A beautiful wine that punches well above its weight.

A fine bright mid purple. There is depth and a more complex grain to the nose. Further back on the palate all the fruit comes out, waves of different red fruits, as stylish as all Jérôme Galeyrand’s wines these days but with a little more structure, a little more depth and the possibility of developing beautifully with some age.
