Aligoté le Cran comes from a vineyard in Saone et Loire near Bissey sois Cruchaud. It grows on granite soil and is an old vine in the process of being certified organic.
The wine is marked by the absence of limestone. It is a fresh Aligoté that has; The tasting is reminiscent of Sake. Very digestible with good persistence.

On granite. Clean clear colour and an agreeable bouquet less obviously Aligoté. Fine and steely up front, now some grape skins washed in citrus, no more than medium bodied, with a fine long white fruit back end. Drink from 2025-2028.
