It is comprised of 70% village Pommard from 70+ year old vines on the good side of the road. Another 20% of the blend is 1er Cru Ladoix, and the last 10% from Pommard 1er Cru Noizons.
The wine is Pommard scented, with brambly deep red and black cherry notes mixed with earth and spice. The palate is sturdy - muscular, with a solid core of fruit, and it finishes elegant and expressive.
