Taut yellow stone fruit aromatics lead to a sleek supple palate with plenty of yellow citrus fruit concentration, a hint of caramelised fig, green melon and a delicate tarte tatin richness on the finish. The wines of 5th-generation Jean-Michel Chartron are "well worth seeking out" (Neal Martin). That includes this opulent and creamy Crémant fizz, made from pure Chardonnay. Bright apple and citrus, with floral and biscuit notes and fine bubbles.

Fine energy on the palate without putting on too much flesh, indeed medium bodied, quite an elegant hillside Meursault. Drink from 2026-2031.

"Tillets" was a medieval form of linden, a tree often found around vineyards. The place called "Les Tillets" is above the hillside of Meursault, close to the woods.

Significant volume of fresh fruit, tinged with its usual lime blossom character, and good crisp finish with just the right acidity.

There is good tension here on the palate, a crisp lemon note along with some fresh apples. Not immediately intense but with good length. A little touch of the positive youthful bitters.

90 - 92 points, Jasper Morris MW Inside Burgundy: Currently in tank, on its finings. Pure lemon and lime colour. Lean white fruit up front, with good tension behind. Entirely white, no yellow plums, racy limestone feel with good length. Tense and long. Tasted: 12/1/2021

*All prices in bond*  93-95 pts 4 Stars, Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy This is still in barrel, unracked. Pale primrose, the bouquet is less easy to discern at this stage, with a minor oxidative note and some reduction. Put that to one side.

Delicious white fruit, very balanced, feel the limestone, enough flesh yet with precision as well. A longer and more mineral finish than Forgets.
