Chablis is an isolated island of vineyards in the northern section of wine-producing Burgundy halfway between Dijon and Paris. Maison Louis Latour's Chablis is the ultimate expression of what the noble Chardonnay grape is capable of on the region's famous kimmeridgian limestone slopes.

The wines of 5th-generation Jean-Michel Chartron are "well worth seeking out" (Neal Martin). That includes this opulent and creamy Crémant fizz, made from pure Chardonnay. Bright apple and citrus, with floral and biscuit notes and fine bubbles.

Just arrived! New vintage of this delicious Chardonnay. It tastes wonderful and with an awesome price! Yet to be scored, previous vintages have consistently scored in the 90's.

Made from 90% Tempranillo, 6% Graciano and 4% Garnacha, the Roda I 2017 has fantastic concentration of fruit on the nose with aromatic layers of abundant black plum and blueberries, cloves, black pepper and cinnamon. In the background there is a subtle white flower quality and aromas of moist earth and pleasant minerality.

Straw yellow color with greenish reflections, complex aroma with notes of apricot and orange and acacia flowers. Welcoming on the palate thanks to its natural aroma, it has a long persistence.

This wine comes from the hilltop town of Sancerre on the left bank of the Upper Loire at an elevation of around 300m. The flint, gravel and limestone soils yield a mineral character to the Sauvignon Blanc grape. Grapes picked from vineyard blocks are vinified separately and then blended together for best balance.
