Some plums, some fresh apple, a steady build up in flesh towards the back of the palate, a good balancing acidity, and fine persistence. Really very good indeed.

Pretty lemon with a lime tint, this is a little stricter at first on the nose, after bottling, but with a wonderful wealth of apple and fresh pear fruit behind, and very good length. Extremely successful. Fine long aftertaste.

SPECIAL OFFER PRICE: Domaine Louis Jadot bought Château des Jacques in 1996. Situated in Moulin à Vent, one of the finest appellations of the Beaujolais, the jewel in this domain’s crown is a 9-hectare clos of Chardonnay, Clos de Loyse.

This wine comes from the hilltop town of Sancerre on the left bank of the Upper Loire at an elevation of around 300m. The flint, gravel and limestone soils yield a mineral character to the Sauvignon Blanc grape. Grapes picked from vineyard blocks are vinified separately and then blended together for best balance. No oak ageing.

Terroirs of Bourgogne from the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits are recognized by the Bourgogne Côte d'Or appellation. Cuvée des Forgets comes from our vineyards on clay soils in the Côte de Beaune.

Generally consumed as early as the year following the harvest and in the following 4-5 years. Serve chilled but not cold: 11 - 12 ° C. Open at the last moment.

From a single vineyard plot in ‘Les Pierres Dorées’, made in the Burgundian way that creates aromatic, fresh and buttery characters with a mineral finish. A benchmark style for the region.

Poised and elegant, this shows what lovely wines Jadot make in Macon Crus. Dry and fine with touch of soft peachy fruit and delicate nutty notes.

Saint Véran is a small commune in the Mâconnais region. To the north are the Pouilly-Fuissé, Pouilly-Loché and Pouilly-Vinzelles appellations.

Wine Safari Score: 94/100 Greg Sherwood MW:  This is another beautifully expressive Chenin Blanc from warm granitic mountain slopes in the Swartland region.

Wine Safari Score: 95/100 Greg Sherwood MW: After the block buster 2021 Monk Stone Chenin Blanc, the new release 2022 from Stark Conde will certainly draw a lot of attention.

Wine Safari Score: 95/100 Greg Sherwood MW: The Axle Chenin Blanc is made by Alex Milner of Natte Valleij winery from grapes sourced from a dryland old bush vine certified Darling heritage block planted in 1985 on decomposed granite soils.

Wine Safari Score: 96+/100 Greg Sherwood MW: In her third solo vintage at the Brookdale helm, winemaker Kiara Scott has produced an absolute cracker of a Chenin Blanc from this highly lauded vintage in the Cape.

A little bit of honeysuckle and musk here, but a significant concentration of fruit on the palate, with a density of texture. Plenty of wine to work with here. Drink from 2024-2027. Tasted: October 2023.

These vines are located at the foot of the Corton hill at an altitude of around 250 m. The slope is gentle and faces south in Les Chagnots and south-east in Les Chaillots. Vines planted on fertile, well-drained soil which favours early ripening of the grapes.

Anyone who meets Jérome is instantly attracted to his love of Burgundy. He is now seen as one of the leading lights in the region when it comes to the Aligoté grape. The Aligoté wines here are serious. Incredible elegance, finesse and a real quality that is not often seen. He has championed the grape variety and the results are wonderful.
