The village of Lugny is located high up in the South of the Mâcon region. It has a great reputation for its white wines which has made Mâcon famous. It is well known that the village of Lugny, with its limestone soils and warm climate, produces the most coveted white wines of the region. The vineyard of « Les Genièvres » is one of the best.
This cuvee consists of 70% Sauvignon Blanc Musqué and 30% Sauvignon Blanc. The wine was aged on its lees for 12 months, in a combination of stainless steel (28%), concrete eggs (14%), used oak (36%) and new oak (22%). The Eisele Vineyard grapes are certified ‘Organic’ by CCOF and ‘Biodynamic’ by Demeter.
The wine shows an elegant range of aromas in which the strawberry and raspberry scents are enhanced with clove and nutmeg touches and hints of tea leaves, fine leather and graphite. In the palate, it is a deep, fresh and refined wine, with a long finish and velvety tannins.
BRUT - GRAND CRU Non -Vintage. This cuvee is a blend of 70% Chardonnay Grand Cru d’Avize and 30% Pinot Noir Grand Cru de Verzenay. This cuvée expresses a lively wine with aromas reminiscent of yellow fruits such as peach and apricot.
Blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. The wine was aged for 19 months in oak. The Eisele Vineyard grapes are certified ‘Organic’ by CCOF and ‘Biodynamic’ by Demeter
This cuvee is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and the grapes originate from the Eisele Vineyard parcels bordering Simmons Creek. The wine was aged for 20 months in 100% new oak. The Eisele Vineyard grapes are certified ‘Organic’ by CCOF and ‘Biodynamic’ by Demeter
