*All Prices In Bond* Sweet Spot (92-94)/2031+ Allen Meadows, Burghound. From a 2.24 ha holding that is divided between Pied d’Aloup, Côte de Bréchain and Chapelot). A discreet dollop of wood sets off the equally cool and perhaps even slightly more elegant aromas of acacia, citrus, seashore and oyster shell.
*All Prices In Bond* Sweet Spot (92-94)/2031+ Allen Meadows, Burghound. (From a huge 3.63 ha parcel out of only 17 ha and most of it is hard by Les Preuses. Séguier calls this their “baby grand cru” as specific barrels are selected for vine age, concentration and power).
*All Prices In Bond* Don’t Miss (93-95)/2033+ Allen Meadows, Burghound. (From two separate parcels of vines, the larger of which is in the heart of the “amphitheater” from which the finest examples of Vaudésir originate; from yields of only 15 hl/ha in 2021).
*All Prices In Bond* Don’t Miss (93-96)/2033+ Allen Meadows, Burghound. From two parcels of vines that total 2.55 ha, or 22% of the entire appellation). A deft application of wood frames the beautifully elegant nose of essence of pear, green apple, acacia blossom, lemon rind and a plethora of classic Chablis scents.
*All Prices In Bond* (91-93) / 2029+ Allen Meadows, Burghound. "Sweet Spot" wine. (From a huge 3.5 ha holding that is composed by ~75% of Vaillons proper with the remainder from Roncières, Mélinots and Châtains).
*All Prices In Bond* Bougros: Sweet Spot (91-94)/2031+ Allen Meadows, Burghound. (From an incredible ~6 ha parcel). This is also aromatically reserved though determined swirling slowly reveals smoky aromas of green fruit, citrus and mineral reduction.
*All Prices In Bond* Don’t Miss (93-96)/2033+ Allen Meadows, Burghound. (From 4 separate parcels totaling 4.11 ha, 3 of which are all at the top of the slope). This too could be from nowhere else other than Chablis with its combination of strong mineral reduction, cool citrus, shellfish and iodine.
This wine is made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown in warm, sandy soils reclaimed from the extensive beds of sandstone by imposing drainage work. The nose is full, concentrated and complex, featuring the typical fig and bell pepper notes along with components derived from prolonged cold fermentation.

*All Prices In Bond* (88-91)/2024+ Allen Meadows, Burghound. A moderately fruity nose reflects notes of lemongrass and enough Chablis character to be attractive. There is solid concentration to the nicely detailed yet rich flavors that deliver better than average complexity on thesaline, dry and lingering finale.
*All prices in bond* 89 Points, Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy. Fresh pale lemon colour. The bouquet is beautifully typical of Pernand. Plenty of fruit here on the palate with a little bit of
flesh too. Ripe greengage and white fruit behind, and the right balance of acidity as well.
*All prices in bond* 91 Points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. Mid lemon yellow. The bouquet is a little tighter and tenser while the palate stretches out further than Sous Frétille. A more
complete wine in all departments this year, light fresh apples and a useful salinity. Much more persistent this year.
*All prices in bond* 93 Points Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy. Pale to mid lemon. The bouquet is restrained yet fine. This is very graceful, with a seamless silky texture. A discreet and
elegant example, medium bodied, quite persistent, a little well-judged oak, and a few stones bringing up the finish.
*All prices in bond* 89 Points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. Mid lemon yellow. There is some energy to the bouquet but it is a little less fine than the village wine, more fruit than flowers but less elegant. Apples on the palate, no more than medium intensity and persistence.
Johann Donabaum Gruner Veltliner Federspiel is a fascinating white wine from Austria's Wachau region. It shows complex aromas of fresh apple and lemon, with hints of anise and menthol. The wine is dry, with a delicious mineral, white pepper bite on the finish.
Rabl Grüner Veltliner Käferberg Reserve comes from a single vineyard, and has lovely aromas of red and green apples, together with a touch of spice. Notes of ripe pineapple and white pepper lead to a mineral, spicy and harmonious palate with a long, creamy finish.
Distinct spice and red berry fruit like rosehips and cherrys. Lively limefruit on the palate, animating delicate acidity, precise and juicy aftertaste.
Delicate grassy pepper spice with mineral undertones, beautiful fruit, lime, Reinette apples, lemon balm; crystal clear structure, elegant, with remarkable length.
The name Rabl stands for wine enjoyment at the highest level.
