Brilliant straw yellow color, intensely fruity aroma with notes of white peach and grapefruit combined with hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate it is intense and mineral.

This could be from nowhere else but Chablis with its nose of crushed algae, iodine, green fruit and shellfish.

*All Prices In Bond* Don’t Miss (93-95)/2033+ Allen Meadows, Burghound.  (From a 2.2 ha parcel at the bottom section of the vineyard; even so, the vineyard is so steep here that it must be worked entirely by hand as tractors would be dangerous to use).

*All Prices In Bond*    88-90pts, Neal Martin, Vinous: It has a sunny bouquet with hints of yellow plum and quince, but still well defined and focused, a light flintiness emerging with time. The palate is well balanced with ample weight, fine acidity, not terribly complex...

Located in the south-eastern part of Lussac Saint-Emilion, Château Lyonnat is a traditional Bordeaux blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
