Ripe, succulent peach and nectarine fruit, a hint of almonds and brioche character.
From one of the biggest personailities in Bugundy comes the expression of some of the finest tenoirs in Burgundy. Anne Parent can trace her family back to making wine over 300 years. Her wines are what being an Artisan is all about. Every different wine has subtle differences. We have never tasted a wine at this Estate which in our opinion would be less than 92 points out of 100. At a tasting in September 2017 we were taken aback at how far the domaine has evolved. Throughout the range there is a constant level of finesse and a shear taste of luxury. These wines are for real Burgundy enthusiasts and not trophy hunters. The beauty of Pommard as an appellation is that there is no Grand Cru, so no matter how hard Anne Parent tries, the wines will never receive the prices that many of her peers will. The quality of wine-making here should not be over-looked as these are Grand Cru quality wines at Premier Cru and Village prices. Her holdings in Pommard are second to none and demand often exceeds supply.
