New Zealand
Zephyr Sauvignon Blanc 2018
Very pale straw with a slight green hue. On the nose, ginger, green apple and crisp highlights of lime. Citrus focussed palate with quenching acidity and varietal elegance.
Jancis Robinson 15.5/20 (2015)
Sauvignon Blanc 100%
Greywacke Sauvignon Blanc 2020
A vibrant mix of nectarines and yellow peaches, combined with the bright fragrance of lemon zest, laced with musky, jasmine-like floral nuances.
Dog Point Chardonnay 2018
"Yet again, there's some reductive character – aiming at Coche? Real beginning, middle and end to the fresh, leesy, super-clean fruit. Bone-dry, smoky finish. Invigorating." Drink 2020 - 2024. 17 points, Jancis Robinson.
Dog Point Pinot Noir 2017
17.5 points, Jancis Robinson: "Mid healthy garnet. Relatively complex savoury burgundian(?) nose. Sweet palate entry but not sickly. Really satisfying – fresh and fruity but with depths that suggest it will age quite well. Lovely balance. Côte de Beaune not Côte de Nuits (sorry for these French similes).
Dog Point and Isabel Mixed selection
A lovely mixed case selection of x4 Isabel Chardonnay 2016, x4 Dog Point Chardonnay 2018 and x4 Dog Point Pinot Noir 2017.
Isabel Chardonnay 2016 x4:
Isabel Estate Chardonnay 2016, Marlborough
17 points, Jancis Robinson: "Gosh. By NZ standards this is an antique! ... Pale green-gold. ...this seems ever so slightly reduced, then soft and gentle on the palate. That characteristic NZ acidity is fading. By no means unpleasant! A really very nice alternative to a well-made Côte de Beaune white.
