Straw yellow color with greenish reflections, complex aroma with notes of apricot and orange and acacia flowers. Welcoming on the palate thanks to its natural aroma, it has a long persistence.

The grape produces wine with distinctive peach and honeysuckle aroma. Is now a key component of many white Côtes du Rhône. In Languedoc and Rousillon it is being bottled unblended leading to richly fragrant wines redolent of overripe apricots and peaches.
