Organise Your Bespoke Wine Tasting Event at Wimbledon Wine Cellar

At Wimbledon Wine Cellar, we're experts in organising and hosting bespoke wine tasting events.

Seated at our dedicated tasting bar, or around our oak dining table, and surrounded by 2000 sq ft of the world's greatest wines at our flagship Imperial Wharf store, you can enjoy a fabulous evening of wine tasting and fine food with your friends, colleagues or clients.

Each tasting event we organise for our clients is unique and costs can be tailored to suit a particular budget, but just to give an indication of typical costs, here is our tasting 'menu':

Arrival Drinks:

• House Champagne: £6 per person
• Bollinger Special Cuvee: £12 per person
• Comtes de Champagne 2000: £28 per person

Food Options:

• Selection of artisan cheeses and charcuterie: £20 per person

Supplied by Vallebona - a specialist Italian gourmet cheese and charcuterie importer and supplier to many of London's finest Michelin-Star restaurants. Click here for further details.

• Three course meal prepared on site by our in-house chef: £40 per person

We specialise in rustic-style French and Italian cuisine - simple, fresh ingredients cooked on site by our in-house chef and designed to complement the wines you taste. Click here to see a sample menu.

Tasting Wines:

• Fine Wine Selection: £25 per person

Our classic selection of fine wines of your choice from around the world. Average cost per bottle tasted: £30

• Premier Cru Selection: £50 per person

A superior selection of fine wines of your choice from Premier Cru vineyards and equivalent. Average cost per bottle tasted: £65

• Grand Cru Selection: £100 per person

An outstanding selection of some of the world’s greatest fine wines chosen according to your preferences. Average cost per bottle tasted: £125

Event Charge (a flat fee covering use of venue and staff):

• Up to 14 guests: £240
• 15 to 24 guests: £400
• 25 to 34 guests: £560

Music:
• A pianist can be supplied on request to play our 1956 Steinway Baby Grand Piano at £150 for the evening

Total Cost Examples (indication only):

• House Champagne on arrival, with Vallebona cheese/charcuterie platters and the Fine Wine Selection, for 10 guests: £75 per person

• Comtes de Champagne on arrival, with a three course meal, the Grand Cru Selection and a pianist, for 30 guests: £190 per person

Our bespoke wine tasting events typically start at 7.30pm and last for approximately 2.5 hours, but guests who wish to stay longer are welcome to relax as long as they like in one of our comfy armchairs and purchase further wines, cognacs and cigars.
